Job Description:

Key Requirements

IT OPERATIONS & SUPPORT (PRIMARY FOCUS)

• Workstation & OS Setup: Configure, deploy, and maintain Windows, macOS, and Linux workstations.  Handling OS installations, driver configurations, software patches, and security settings.
• User & Access Support: Provide L1/L2 IT helpdesk support for employee hardware, software, VPN, and networking issues. Manage user accounts and access permissions through Active Directory and Google Workspace.
• Asset Inventory & Management: Track company IT assets, hardware allocations, software licenses, and equipment status. Maintain accurate records for audit and compliance purposes.
• Scripting & Automation: Develop basic Bash or Python scripts to automate routine IT tasks and system maintenance.
• Observability & System Monitoring: Set up and maintain system observability across logs and metrics. Work with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, and AWS CloudWatch.

Key Skills & Requirements

• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure or Google Cloud
• CI/CD Pipelines: GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
• Containerization: Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in Bash or Pytho
• Monitoring & Observability: New Relic, Prometheus, and Grafana
• System Administration: Knowledge of Linux/Windows systems, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.
• IT Infrastructure Setup: Configure and deploy employee workstations, laptops, and peripherals, including domain joining, security configuration, and system readiness.
• IT Asset Management: Maintain hardware and software inventory, track license allocations and equipment assignments, and ensure accurate asset records.
• Technical Support: Provide first-level support for hardware, software, network, and access-related issues, ensuring timely troubleshooting and resolution
• Cybersecurity – Code, server and infrastructure security knowledge.
